How We Handle Dental Insurance

We’re a fee-for-service practice, which means we don’t participate in any dental insurance networks. This gives us the freedom to focus entirely on what’s best for your smile without insurance company restrictions getting in the way! Learn more about FFS vs. PPO.

But don’t worry, we still want you to get the most value out of your dental insurance! If you have out-of-network dental insurance benefits, we’re glad to help you use them in 2 ways:

  1. We’ll check your coverage ahead of time and for qualifying treatment plans, we’ll apply an upfront Professional Courtesy Adjustment based on your estimated benefit! (Terms and Conditions apply see our official Insurance and Financial Responsibility documents given to you at the time of treatment finalization for details.)

  2.  Submit insurance claims for you as a courtesy [you’ll be reimbursed directly by your insurance company]

Your insurance company will send any reimbursement directly to you. Many of our patients tell us that this adjustment plus their reimbursement ends up costing them less out-of-pocket than going to an in-network provider.

We’ll review your personal benefits during your visit so everything is clear before you decide on treatment.

This is not a guarantee of benefits—actual reimbursements depend on your plan details and insurance provider. We'll provide a free benefits estimate at your consult. Adjustment is a professional courtesy for all patients, not tied to insurance payout.

Financial Policy

Our Financial Policy – Keeping It Simple and Transparent

We want you to feel confident and comfortable about the financial side of your care.

  • Payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, and third-party financing (like CareCredit).
  • If you finance 100% of your treatment through an approved lender, the lender will pay us directly.
  •  For patients paying without full financing:
    – 50% of the total remaining treatment fee is due before we begin treatment
    – The remaining 50% is due before your final restorations (crowns, bridges, hybrids, etc.) are placed

If you have out-of-network insurance and qualify, we’ll apply our Professional Courtesy Adjustment (amount varies depending on your estimated insurance benefits and treatment plan see details in official policy document) to qualifying plans, reducing your balance right away.

We’ll always go over your treatment plan and exact costs with you in advance—no surprises. Our team is here to answer any questions and help you choose the payment option that fits your needs best.

Our Appointment Cancellation Policy

At Premier Dental Implants & Prosthodontics, we strive to provide exceptional care and maintain an efficient schedule to serve all our patients. To help us achieve this, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy:

  • Advance Notice: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient.
  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments may incur a $50 fee, depending on the appointment type. We understand emergencies happen, and fees may be waived in such cases at our discretion.
  • New Patient Courtesy: First-time patients receive a one-time waiver for a late cancellation or no-show as a gesture of goodwill.
  • Rescheduling Made Easy: Need to change your appointment? You can reschedule conveniently through our online portal or by calling us at 813-295-7656.
